They used to be sincerely made Holiday sweaters that were really only appropriate for a Kindergarten teacher. Now they are made to be ugly and ironic and cheeky and it’s less fun.

1000% agreed. I don’t like the idea of going out to buy a sweater specifically made to be an ugly Christmas/holiday sweater. It’s supposed to just exist out in the wild!

Not that I’m a fan of going after 82 year old humans, but the whole thing of physically altering dogs to suit our tastes is pretty awful and we need to stop doing that.

Omg her big eyes!

Stuff like that is why I tend to only make things for people who know what goes into making something. It might be petty of me, but at least they have an appreciation for the time and effort spent making what I give them.

I have half a dozen friends that knit, and at least 3 that sell their stuff commercially. If I just want something they already make, then I pay the “friend discount” price. If I wanted a specific yarn, then I damn well better supply that yarn myself.

I made a little pompom rug that I showed here a few months back, and it keeps loosing little pieces of yarn. When I think about how much I spent buying the yarn, I realize I could have just bought a fancy rug. Yarn ain’t cheap, but people don’t realize that.

You’re right! Ribs and brisket for Thanksgiving!!!

Yeah, a friend of mine is a consultant. And I honestly don’t mind the dresses and skirts. I have some really cute ones and I like that they’re essentially wash and go so I never have to iron (so the comments about how sexless and “give up” they are kind of suck to see) but they really just don’t treat their

That is super cute. Are the ears crochet? I have to learn how to do more than a crochet cast on! And I’d say your knitting skills are pretty awesome...doesn’t matter if you drop a stitch if you can pick it up again!

That’s so nice!

You look AMAZING and that guy is a dick.

You and the doggie look great.

That is adorable and so are you! I seriously love that, the widdle ears kill me.

Your costume is amazing! Pupper is a very good dog. That one dude can die in a fire.

Ha! Can relate to doggo’s ennui.

You look amazing.

That scene is extremely confusing for anyone who studies Roman culture.
