You're absolutely correct. As a sys admin/web developer, I'm realistically on call 24/7, which is why that's the signature on my phone. Just so they know I'm not at the office, usually after hours.

My work email account on my phone has my regular work signature with "—Sent from my Droid X" just so that people know I'm not at a computer. Being in IT, it does make my life easier. It actually does save me from having to tell people that I can't do something specific because I'm only on my phone.

I wish more people on Anrdoid blogs/forums would do that, because it would make it easier to answer their questions. I get tired of having to ask for those specifics when trying to provide assistance.
