Once I saw Dan answer a question from an overweight girl. She was asking why guys didn't like her and if she would ever be able to find a man. His response really surprised me. He said that the problem was that most boys who were as young as she was (probably a freshman) were really concerned with fitting in. Part

Reads like the back of most packaged foods. Not that shocking.

@Honu Harry: Most biologist I know just say that birds are dinosaurs.

I've long contended that Empire Strickes Back is one part grand, sweeping epic and one part lame, cheesy sequel.

@ShanaLD: No, the films rights to the character are not just linked to owning DC. Here is one article on it, but I'm sure you can find more -

@Jonas72: Please do. I'm aware that my idea has a lot more literary value than it does scientific, so it should be explored in that way.

Mr. Gotham and I talk about this all the time. Here is what we've come up with. You don't upload your brain, instead, as an infant a computer program is put into your brain that is there simply to observe and record. It watches your 'operating system' seeing how it works, learning you. As you gain complexity, so

Oh please, oh please, oh please clone a dwarf elephant.

@Andy Kay: Repackaging other successful ideas is what Abrams does best.

Wait a minute "fiance to the main character" "also a cop."

@Honu Harry: Don't forget the one 'everyman' that the nerds love and can relate to.
