@serenada: There is something about a person (man, woman, don't care) with a gun in each hand...

So his answer is that they can look good. Whereas men can't. I think Dean Winchester might blow that argument right the hell out of the water.

@OzymandiasX: It's not about originality, it's about bad storytelling. It's contrived and relies he heavily on happenstance. Unless you subscribe to the idea that it was 'destined' to happen. But I, for one, want mystical ideas like that as far away from Trek as possible.

Ok, so I'm a Vulcan. I just thought it was manipulative and way out of place to have a scene like that in Trek. Kirk is being born while his father is killed by the guy who just happens to be the first villain Kirk ever has to fight.

@looocas: Ben Radford is my hero.

The story of the Patterson-Gimlin footage is, to me, the best part of the Bigfoot myth. These guys did a great episode on it -

@PlaidNinja: Cats, I think, should be mocked far more often than it actual is.

@PlaidNinja: "Phantom on the other hand..."

My friend and I saw a trailer for 'The Virginity Hit.' They put up the tag line - "getting laid is hard" and we both almost shouted "Bullshit."

Someone ready the Sutherland.

@regis: I followed the tag, I found an article about Hancock.

Are you sure it's the word 'characters' and not the word 'wrestling' that should be in quotation marks?

Now all I have to do is learn how to use the tag system.

When the ultimate Evil in Highlander broke loose (ruining the series) didn't it come from Iraq? Of course it made sense then because they were claiming the bad guy was the Zoroastrian 'devil' and so Iraq would have been a pretty believable place for him to be trapped.

Not gonna lie. I just drive the speed limit. Seriously, it makes your life less stressful. Added bonus, you get to call a lot of people assholes without being a hypocrite.

@FrankN.Stein: I don't really have anything to add. I just had to say that you've captured so much of how I feel.

@hambonegravy: Wizard and Glass is the book I'm stuck on (and have been for two years). I tore through the books up till then. I got to Wizard and Glass and suddenly I couldn't find the will to read it.
