@bug: What else was there? Anyone of any class can be abuse drugs? I already knew that too.

@Ken: That is pretty much exactly how I was interpreting the film.
@Clutchman83: I think they are doing the same thing that they did when the put wrestling on, they hire someone to do a big poll of viewers and see what will get them to change the channel to SyFy. Since the demographic for people who like wrestling and Billy Ray Cyrus is so much bigger than the ones that like Quantum…
@crashedpc /sarcasm: Where they belong.
@dkl415: Living in Wyoming I can tell you, that is sure true. Most of the state still functions like it's 1960, economy wise. Unless you live in one of the three real cities (like I do).
More and more I think in a few years there will be nothing left on Syfy for io9 to cover. There will just be no actual sci-fi there to talk about.
Only because we've been talking about it all day over here - [io9.com]
@lunchcoma: Ok, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks.
@a.seivewright: I've created the very thing I feared most.
Like I need another reason to be envious of Canada.
Ok, I might not be reading close enough. Are we talking 75K per individual or per household?
@KEPinion: It's not that you aren't smart enough for Pi, it's that Pi isn't smart enough for you.
@Wolfsheim: You made the right choice. I don't often support giving up on films half way (or 10% of the way) through. But Pi most certainly an exception to that rule.
@crosis101: Pay for my art? Are you kidding? Do you know how piddly the National Endowment for the Arts is? It's embarrassingly small compared to all other nations of our size.
@Andrizzleton: Axe Cop, only slightly more awesome than Dr. McNinja.
@Andrizzleton: So many more -
@RizzRustbolt: I'm all for that theory. True schizophrenia is about the scariest thing on earth. The idea of not knowing what is and is not real terrifies me.
