@RandomThought: What are the public works like in Germany? Do you have public health? How are the schools? I assume the government is doing something with that 30-40%. If the US all we get is a really big military and some highways.

@b33g33: Slate just did an interesting piece about this. I think it's going to be a short series.
I'm not sure if this is the same study I've read, but one I read looked at women who had lost weight due to stomach stapling and at their kids. They saw that kids born before the surgery tended to have a higher BMI than kids born after the surgery.
@8x10: Yeah, but that 65% of the income tax represents, less than 10% of the top earners total income.
@mordicai: And his Pi.
@RizzRustbolt: Schizophrenia, like voices are talking to her and she is unable to seperate reality from her delusions? Or do you mean, the other woman is just a Tyler Durden style second personality? Because that is not schizophrenia, but dissociative identity disorder.
@Andrizzleton: Thanks so much. I can't watch it now, but I'm defiantly going to when I get home.
@mannieschumpert: The conquistador stuff is very straight forward. As soon as we find out she is writing a book about the Mayans we know that is what the opening of the movie was - her book. The globe is more detached from the the other stories (to the film's detriment if you ask me. It would have been better if…
@Ghost_in_the_Machine: I just didn't like the whole film. I mean, it was really well made. It was really well acted. It was dirty and gritty and real. You add all that up and it does equal a good movie. And I will admit that it is a good movie. But I still hate it. It seems to me we go through all that, suffer…
@PatS: Twitter, the source by which we find out how boring celebrities really are.
@ShanaLD: It really is a good looking movie. Typically special effects of that scale hinder a story rather than helping it. But he really knew what he was doing with those effects.
@Andrizzleton: Can I ask where Aronofsky's formal interpretation is? At the risk of ruining my own interpretation, I would like to hear what he has to say about it.
@enderwiggin13: I think it was a really interesting idea, but that the movie didn't come together at all. The three stories, from what I understand, where supposed to be three different people throughout time but they lost some funding and had to make them all the same guy. I could really feel that in the film. The…
I've recently decided to give Darren Aronofsky another chance. I'm very much looking forward to seeing him do a film with a female lead. The reviews are a little troubling. Then again, I can't hate it more than I hate Requiem for a Dream.
@eriiccc: I think Scorpius shows up in the last three episodes of season one. It's pretty great tv.
@razreshat: I think they were trying to go out by doing something 'no other Trek had done before,' while linking it to the other shows.
@o6untouchable: Well, unless you think that seasons 9 and 10 might as well be a completely different show for as much as they have to do with SG storylines, themes, character, and style.
@TnOdyssey001: I think they were basing it off one of her more recent outfits. But even in the comic she has the good sense to do the zipper up. :)
@Preacher iTofu a.k.a. Scammer Money: You're sneaky.
