The mercenaries’ biographies are obviously written by a team member in the present day. It’s easier to say Philaon was born in Alexandria, the name by which we know the place today, than whatever obscure place name it had at the time. Now, where’s my No-Prize

That sounds both terrifying and glorious at the same time haha

Yeah he’s definitely villainous looking, and i want to say he was listed as a villain in his Marvel Series IV trading card that I had, but we all knew deep down he was a good guy. I dunno why but as a kid i had a weird place in my heart for him and for Cardiac, who’s costume design was real real bad, but who had a

Great article, but for my money, the best moment in Spider-Verse is when they realize that someone has to stay on this side to close the gate, which will kill them, and all of the Spider-people, immediately and in unison, say, “I’ll do it.”

I didn’t think we’d be finding ourselves in a situation where the latest Spider-Man movie is a more heartfelt and affecting piece of cinema than the latest Pixar film, but here we are.

I still can’t believe how good this movie is.

20 dollars is nothing....especially for a game of this size and quality.

Thing is though, that the steam agreement doesn’t allow them to fully pull the game off steam. Only the buy option is gone. If you already have the game, then it’s always yours. Thats one thing I worry about for any of the other launchers, like gog, indigala, humble. Do they all have the same agreements in place for

I’ll grant you that maybe the show gets much better after the first episode, but unless it becomes an entirely different show in every conceivable way, it’s really not for me. I’m not saying you can’t enjoy it, or telling anyone they’re wrong for it being their favorite anime ever. I was merely offering my opinion

...I mean, maybe? But world was literally destroyed, everybody died, and nobody (aside from the two main assholes) have any chance to fight for anything anymore.

The storyline is from 70s which was considered so edgy to be gory and nihilistic and is a student of Osamu Tezuka’s. Although...I find the dark themes from Tezuka stood the test of time far better.

It does not get better. There are good things about it, and I can understand how people like it, but it’s terrible. It’s just so unrelentingly nihilistic and mean-spirited. It keeps contradicting its own ideas over and over, setting up concepts and throwing them away, and then ending with the gall to try and claim

I watched the entire season of Devilman Crybaby when I saw everyone gushing over it, and though I didn’t really like the first couple of episodes I kept going. And then it went from dislike to hate. I just do not understand why people like this so much, or why they talk about it like it’s full of passion and energy.

yeah I would say I’m pretty into anime and can stomach some pretty okay ones (even made it through ‘16 and ‘17 Berserk but I bounced right off Devilman.  I made it through 2 episodes I think but couldn’t go farther, it was the art direction for me, I don’t know what it was...

The best anime of 2018 was AICO Incarnation. It’s on Netflix, watch it already!

I’m pretty excited, too—but I’ll believe KH III is actually coming out when it’s physically in my console. ;)

I’m not going to try to say they are all decent or anything, but it makes me wonder what you’d prefer? For Nintendo to go back to how the Wii U was? At least developers are making games for the switch and Nintendo is getting 3rd party support out the butt. It's a good thing.  The switch is thriving and as gamers

I really don’t care for just substituting the word shovelware to mean “games I don’t like.” It’s imprecise language, and get fucked.

I thought the Spiderman suit in IW looked like a cartoon.

I agree! Quite a few moments of questionable VFX. Something doesn’t look quite right when Iron Man and Spidey are standing around with their nano-bot helmets retracted. I feel so aware of the rotoscoping. But, later on, Thanos’s up-close emotions are unbelievably detailed. So you win some, you lose... half the
