I felt the same, but I wouldn’t say there’s nothing wrong with it. The first game was very segmented in terms of mission, overworld puzzle, mission, overworld puzzle. It was linear but it worked. The sequel’s overworld is sprawling and messy, the puzzles are less fun, and they don’t break up all the missions in

Reviewers loved the sequel, but I bought it and I did not. I did love the first game, but felt it could have been improved. The sequel doesn’t improve upon the first, it changes things that amount to a wash. It’s filled with content, but it’s just not what I wanted from a sequel to the first game.

Imagine being so insecure that you have to speak on behalf of billions of people who don’t exist.

I’m not sure the comparison to unions is apt. While Starbucks workers should not be vulnerable to capricious and unjust treatment, individual workers do have dozens if not hundreds of similar employment options if they were to simply quit. A Youtube creator can’t just pack up their user base and content and go

I’ve never read a Kotaku article that outlined so many preconditions in order to enjoy jokes.

Path of Radiance is good, if a little easy. Radiant Dawn is perfection.

I am currently playing Mario and Rabbids 2 and . . . it is just not quite what I wanted.

His boots are already clean. Stop licking.

It’s even better in Y2.

Programming a fleet of drones doesn’t take effort. It takes one programmer and a wad of cash.

This game has looked like ass from the very first footage. I don’t know why anyone expected it would come out any different.

Shhh.

This only applies if there’s no other context. When there is more than one number, and they’re counting the same thing (scores), you use consistent style for both.

And moreover, when a number is treated as a value (in this case, numerical scores, rather than five individual items), it should be written as a numeral.

I watched Dunkey’s whole video and was waiting for the punchline. I’m still convinced it’s some kind of joke.

I’m not saying he can’t create games. I’m just saying . . . it’s Dunkey. All his videos are about jokes.

The thing is, “Yakuza” is simple. It’s word English speakers know by now, and it’s a game series that gamers know by now.

“Like a Dragon” is just awkward in English. It’s not an established style of title, at least not grammatically. Maybe it’s more effective in Japanese, but it just has no heft or clarity in English.

Imagine feeling like the victim when a bunch of nazis get booted off the internet.

Pretty sure we’re mad that he’s murdering Ukrainian civilians and waging a war of aggression.

I don’t think this will happen. The weird thing about gaming is that the shittiest people have the biggest shitfits over things that impede their gaming experience, rather than politics. It requires more work for them to defend and support this than the enjoyment they’ll get from it.

Depends on the cause, and it also depends on the platform. I don’t really want or expect developers to use the steam storefront as a soapbox, even if I agree with their politics.

Internet, please show me your most deranged and cringy take. Thank you.
