The truly shitty thing about this game is that the kill animations are almost entirely for open combat finishers, since stealth is practically impossible in this game.

The issue isn’t the legality, it’s the cultural acceptance. There are stricter laws against invading privacy in the west because it’s culturally less acceptable than in Japan.
