I have a different problem. When I want to pick up a save file again, usually for a game I’ve beaten but that has a lot of post-game content to do, it’s not merely that my lack of familiarity with the controls and stakes puts me off.
And Judgment comes soon this summer (to Epic store, but still).
Ugh. I played the first LIS last year, so that’s not an issue, but I own Before the Storm and haven’t played it yet, so now I’m rather conflicted.
As a fan of most Ubisoft series, this game was so incredibly bland. It was everything people complain about Ubisoft games being. I played for probably less than a dozen hours and never looked back.

I think you may be confusing snappy dialogue with characterization. The only characters who got any exploration were Wrench and Josh. Marcus had basically one emotional state throughout.

Honestly, multiplayer can sometimes make bland games more interesting. Hopefully that’s the case with this one. WD2 was a lot of fun, but it was even more fun multiplayer.
I like Syndicate just fine. Hell, I like most of the AC games. But also like most AC games, this boss battle was blah and the ending was blah.
