I will add, the present-day stuff in the Odyssey DLC is interesting and engaging (and honestly, so is a lot of it in the main game). And I have no idea what happened in the present-day stuff in Origins, even though I did play that game.

Two things.

The last console I bought was a PS3. Ugly as sin. Put it on a shelf under the TV. Never had to look at it. Played games just fine. That’s all that mattered.

An AC game that fixes broken gameplay elements, rather than incrementally tweaks them? Color me interested.

Actually, Yuzu is doing . . . I don’t know, okay? I played through Mario Odyssey on it, and I’m currently playing Pikmin 3. Yeah, a number of games crash or don’t boot at all, but there are a number of fully playable games if you don’t mind some sluggishness and iffy resolution.

I remember when the PS3 was advertised as cutting load times and framerate lag. And then the PS4 did. And now the PS5.

You’re referring to Cemu’s performance of BotW, right? I don’t think Yuzu is capable of that yet.
