Good luck attracting talent for those R&D jobs.

What a fantastic way to destroy a morning.

@Quattro-luvr: You could see the paint peeling off of the the striped backdrops at least. Look at the highspeed footage again.

@Bullitt417: They had buster in there. Didn't you see the shard of what was left of his face?

@nitroram33 misses Murilee: It's the MPG and emissions part, plus perception. The 5.7 Hemi is finally rated at over 20, just barely. The 6.4 will be lucky to do better than 10 on a regular basis. That is not the forward looking tree hugging the Administration is looking for out of the bailout monies.

They're going to have a helluva time justifying such a monster to the Obama auto industry committee if they expect to receive any more bailouts.

@pauljones: They're great in hot chocolate. I'm currently torturing a box right now.

I'm liking all the new Subies these days save for one thing. All of them have gotten a bit larger but they seem to be specing all of the models with disproportionately small tire & wheel combos. Just looks really weird.

Needs more lens flare. So. Much. Shiny.

So glad to see that Jeep likes to waste money on focus groups and consumer research. I took part in a research thing a few years ago where they were asking about input methods for controlling the 4wd system. Overwhelmingly, the group asked for the opportunity to directly control all the diffs and locking. Looks like

@F*ckingPlushroom: More positive proof to the possibility of polishing turds?

@Alfisted: No, used 8.5x11 paper culled from the trash bins at TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) call center headquarters.

    Cough cough coughYUGO cough cough.

@pallendo: Next season isn't starting until Summer.

My dad's got nuts like that.

@Tanshanomi: Handling counts for everything at speeds over even 80 MPH. Dear god, I'd be afraid to drive a Cobalt SS anywhere near it's top speed.

I guess the smoke helps disguise how ugly the Mustang is. So there's that.

By the by, the Wrangler will be getting Chrysler's new V6 in 2011 MY or so. Testing has reported 280 HP on that new mill. Granted, if Chrysler lasts that long. At any rate the JK should see improvement out of that change.
