Sorry, but full size Jeep or go home.

Another mitigating point for the TJ's is that they had the older, lower powered 4.0 mated to them rather than the 3.8L minivan express mill. It doesn't exclude them from being potential flambe bait, but it does put it into question as the cause in those fires.

Thank you for mentioning that. I'm having a minor stroke at the fact that a bunch of those are the older TJs. In the videos as well.

Try googling "The suspects fled in a Jeep Cherokee".

Oh my lord. You all need to hang out more in some Jeep forums. We are not attractive people. Trust me. Jeep likes to feed the marketing fire that Jeep people are somehow better off for the ownership of them. It seems to be working as this image has been relentlessly perpetuated by the lay people of non Jeep ownership.

Totally cracked out asking. And 4BT? It's a Power Wagon for goodness sakes. Shoulda been a 6BT. IF it had a 6BT I'da considered $50k within the realm of reality.

This still makes me cock my head sideways in bewilderment.

You ought to wait till Cesar's around. When he's bound to see you, set up a nice 3-4 hour loving wash n wax session with that peach Isuzu. At the end, apply a tasteful 'This vehicle not for sale' decal to the rear window. Be sure to display to Cesar that he is #1 in your book at some point during the event.

    Shoulda been an Audi spot.

Ah, BNA. How I do enjoy visiting you. From the twangy dude on the way to baggage claim playing "Knocking on Heavens Door" (true story) to the kick ass barbecue selections, who wouldn't? And the TSA folks have usually been terrific, bless their hearts.

Meanwhile, in lightly moistened San Jose, my Jeep hates me because the only thing I can find for it to play in is the occasional flooded intersection thanks to plugged storm drains.

Into the drink with EVERYTHING! I'm sure all the sailors are aware of that risk when they sign up for this service. But then again, if your active duty service loosing yer scoot is a less harrowing risk than most of the others you signed up for.

I have a friend in India who gets around to some awesome sights in his warhorse diesel Mahindra. He's moving here soon and I fear he is going to be disappointed with how much less freely he's going to be able to pull off fantastic journeys in the US. Sigh.

Further, once the design goes through the wind tunnel then on to accounting, something gets sanded down - always. And I agree, job well done Ford.

Keep it on topic please. Everyone always jumps to the failings of the state and never gives us credit where we're going in the right direct. The hatred and immediate writing us off as pointlessly lost is sad. We are more than a punchline and the list of stale talking points you've just regurgitated with no backing up.

But the point the author makes is fallacious given that rule. More population means more cars. So it follows that there is a market for EVs in those denser areas. It's just that the market doesn't necessarily include flyover country because it is sparsely populated and more far flung. Jumping to the conclusion that

Come to California. We're actively moving off of coal for generation. See our state's Public Utilities Commission and it's mandates to move away from non-renewables for generation. And in a state of near on 37 million people, that's a substantial change that's taking place.

A local Silicon Valley exotics dealer had one for sale back in 2009. Used of course, with a few miles on the odo. I still kick myself for not at least going by and pressing my face on the window to get a look at it.

August. Looks like Mordor runs Hitachi. Figures.

I have been eyeing the new Forza with much salivation. But the cost of a new XBox to support such a thing has instead gone into a new Jeep. Hopefully that will help some.
