Oh Waggy, how can I say no to you?

    First, TEEN GIRL SQUAD!

That Merc sled is certainly interesting. But I've been wondering what happened to the Panamera. Has Porsche got anything on the show calendar for that one?

@SupermotoThud: I thought that I was th eonly one who noticed that on GMs. Glad to see I'm not insane. Well, at least not alone in my mania.

@ViergangFuchs: Just because something was successful in the past doesn't mean it must be allowed to survive and protected at all costs.

Wow, that's some seriously cheap design. Those pieces the author on the indy site show are impressively shoddy. After seeing the comparatively solid stems that came with my American Racing alloys on my Jeep they only seem doubly so. Almost like they came off a bicycle tube.

Must add at 101 the new Acura sedans. Those are just awful, awful, awful.

    This was a close 11th.

How is this different than the tow package they've had for a few years now for the SRT8?

    Next week J-turns please?

My pesos are on the new Grand definitely not withering away. I expect that it will be based on some Merc platform of some kind. Don't forget that Daimler still carries interest in Chrysler. Also, Chrysler is reworking their interior design processes and products. One of the first vehicles to benefit from this will be

@layabout: Seems fair. You get a Mondeo and a Focus that doesn't suck. And numerous other smarter car options that we'll never see.

My local Costco had one of these parked out in front this week shilling for their car buying service. I have to say it looks a lot better in person than in all the print media I've seen thus far. And the white roof is definitely striking. Ford may have something new here to do them good for a change.

Skull and driveshaft needs to be on the hood, Firechicken style.

Ya know there's a terrific business opportunity here. Ala Tom Cruise in "Rainman" someone needs to establish an international auto import business for all the vehicular awesomeness that never makes it to the US market. Just instead of supercars bring us Jeep J8's, diesel JK's, Vauxhall VXR8's, Ford Mondeos, Fiat

There's a special department in hell for the person who takes a plasma cutter to a Veyron.

Once Chrysler gets a 50 state diesel, I expect we might actually see a fabled US diesel Wrangler. That is of course if Chrysler lives that long.

@Andrewpetty: There's no Bluetec's in the Grands yet. The current diesel in the Grand is different altogehter. The Bluetec Grand Cherokee is slated for the '09 model year but is in danger of slipping for some unknown reason.

Screaming Fire Chicken! Nothing gets us ladies riled up quite like a hirsute Mr. Reynolds piloting a Fire Chicken.
