This is a Very Good column

Agreed - as good as everything else in the show is, the Flanderization of Josh is kind of disappointing.

Knowing the twist is what sold me on the show!

I love genuinely having no clue - I missed out on Lost and shows like that so I’ve never experienced a twisty show all caught up before. (I’m on the younger side of this site)

I like Caitlin too, for the most part, but then again there’s this deeply problematic piece she did a while ago. I understand that a father transitioning can be traumatic (honestly I haven’t even fully come out and I’ve hurt a couple of my relationships already), but there’s also a lot of frustrating moments.

I don’t think the show will introduce children; at most Rebecca will spend Season 4 pregnant. 

yeah he’s been Flanderized to hell too - which is not a bad thing, but I don’t know if he was ever this similar to Jason Mendoza

I wonder if that’s been the conclusion to their four-season plan all along?

I have absolutely no idea how they’re going to end this season, and that’s pretty cool.

What’s interesting is that the meta aspect of the show isn’t as overt as some other shows would make it. The other shows I watch - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Rick and Morty - will break the fourth wall every other episode, and it’s weirdly refreshing to have the fourth wall breaking be almost purely allegorical and…

Ahhh I would love that! Janet is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters on television. D’arcy Carden deserves all the awards - everything she does makes me laugh, but her character development is just as palpable.

I love this show because even when you predict a punchline, they’ll both make the punchline and go even further with it (and then there’s the whole dropping-hints-via-a-roast thing which, how do you even come up with that?)

I’m one episode away (this one!) from being fully caught up - it’s so worth watching!!

The movie had problems with tonal balance, but Aubrey Plaza’s performance alone elevated the film.
