I’d like to add that the decreased profits are a widespread problem - the same thing is happening within the music industry as well with Spotify and SoundCloud. Maybe it’s a middle-class shrinkage problem, maybe art is being devalued, but there just doesn’t seem to be a drive for consuming much of *anything.*
