I’m really into seeing The Green Knight and The Woman Who Ran. Kim Min-hee is pretty interesting to watch, and I think Hong Sang-soo puts some fascinating stuff onscreen. The handful of his that I’ve seen haven’t all been fully successful, but they’re always really interesting, especially Right Now, Wrong Then.

This doesn’t seem normal at all. In Japan, there is significant vocal backlash regarding female celebs who are dating. It’s not uncommon for such women to get hate-mail, or even death threats from their adoring fans. I don’t see this happening anywhere near to the same degree in other countries.
