The Hong Kong location means the US is very much a *secondary market* for this film. Asian cinema is in love with their shiny futuristic-looking cities and, it seems, a little bit frightened of them too. There’s no equivalent in the US because US cities look neither shiny nor futuristic these days.

Yes, nit-picking at fiction does tend to “strain credibility.” Try “suspending disbelief” next time.

I’m glad this show (and recaps) are back!

It’s a great show, a lot of fun, with a phenomenal cast. No complaints from me! Just finished it last night. I had a LITTLE trouble in the first few episodes keeping track of all the balls in the air from last season, but by the fourth or fifth I’d settled in and was having just as much fun as last time.

jeez people, why does every show gotta be revelatory? This is a pulpy, interesting enough program with decent suspense and hooks to keep you watching. A solid watch when you’re home sick or confined to a place with nothing better to do for a day or two. For whatever the show is lacking, as soon as I start watching it…
