This all day. For me, family road trips are often 700-900 mile days, with picnic lunches on the move. Gas and restrooms every couple hours, and back on the road. Driving from Houston to Asheville NC or Denver CO would be a nightmare with charger breaks.

I have two VWs in the driveway - my Passat, and the CC my wife and oldest daughter share. Mu Suburban is getting very long in the tooth, and I could see myself trading it in on a VW Bus....if it wasn’t electric. Hybrid? Sure. Pure plug in? No way.

I’m in Houston, which isn’t bad. You get a solid 7 months with the top down, 8 or 9 if you push it.
