Median and average are two different things. Average household income is closer to $75k, and average AGI for married filing jointly is $117k. Keep in mind that this is AGI, not actual income. Most people’s actual income is 30-50% higher than their AGI.

A cop and a teacher are about as middle of middle class as you can get.

It’s not my life, I’m just giving an example of very average people who make $225k. I work in Intelligent Traffic Systems, and my wife is home with our children, and I’m not quite to $225k, yet.

I’ve had exceptional results from Yokohamas on cars and Coopers on trucks. Our Suburban wears Cooper Discovery A/T, and I just put Yokohama Advan Sport A/Son my VW CC. Not the cheapest, but on the cheaper side of average.

Being wealthy in NYC is like an abusive relationship. Sure, you love NY, and they keep saying that they’re going to get better, but the reality is that NYC is just using you for your money.
