@Justin: I assume he's talking about the supposed collapse of the music bizness, not the global recession. But I can't figure out what those hundreds of thousands of record people were doing before. And how on Earth do contemporary bands manage to record music, sell albums, and tour nowadays, if all those people are

@Bobby T.: Not when you are arrested in Britain.

@BrendCh06: My friend tried to convince me that the Owl Ship love scene fit because it riffed on movies from the '80s, when this version of Watchmen was set.

@Batousi: and con cellmates into hiding stuff for you. I assume he was punished too.

@Graviton1066: The big difference is a "mass market" producer is going to allocate a lot more money for marketing and sales support. And have to build those retail store relationships.

@shooter: Certainly their intents indicate they are a critical global security problem. After many many years of trade embargoes, however, there is a very real discussion about what Iran has managed to acquire and/or build. (Passenger airlines are seriously troubled because of old fleets and the near impossibility of

@hawkeye18: On 4, I can't stop looking at the crazy angle of the black nose cone on the top ... booster segment? It looks like something went really wrong in assembly.

@Jello4Brains: They recovered computers and other stuff intact from the base, so they didn't bomb the crap out of it. Seems they bombed the outer ring of security, then went in.

@Rev Slow: Mono Jojoy and his cronies weren't the only persons living in the jungle. You can't just bomb any heat signature. Basic procedure is airplanes find potential targets, and then ground troops ID them as good/bad.

@Michael Hayes: Yeah, not the first time MS limits a product's features as if to make it easier for the consumer. They are clearly not trying to beat Android at the ultimate power-user game.

@deep_fryed: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service says:

I wish they made his suit fit. Him and Abbas look like they're wearing their older brothers' suits.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Saw it again last night and I don't remember that. Middle of the episode, he sees Otherlivia for the first time, and she's like 'WTF you staring at?' At the end, when they get back, I think she just goes to Olivia's apt and then to the typewriter store. Otherlivia and Peter aren't on screen

@Fanboy185: To me there's a fundamental difference between X-Files/Twin Peaks and Fringe. The earlier two were about the clash between reality and perception, natural vs. supernatural. Cooper struggling with his dreams. Mulder and Scully debating whether it's a chupacabra or a teenage prank.

@gemcosta: It's Florida. We have the loosest self-defense laws anywhere, except maybe Afghanistan. Unarmed dude was shot and killed yesterday in traffic. Cops let the shooter go. Be forewarned if you come to Florida; don't start an argument you're not prepared to defend to the death.

I'd posit it's all about deals with the carriers. The Orange website shows 7 Nokia phones available; Virgin Mobile UK has 6.

@alixana: I lived in Brazil for a few years and the cable stations there were Sony, WB and Fox, and they aired the shows that their studios produced. Weird to see some shows together, when I knew in the U.S. they were on competing networks.

@Jim Fletcher: Yeah, I'm disappointed that anyone else is allowed to make a movie with his name as the title. Are there no rules in Hollywood?
