Too much drama. Bob Vila’s This Old House was way more soothing. I could watch that man varnish a porch for hours... and have.

My all-time favourite was the episode with the woman who “hated brown” and her living room was redecorated in an “all-brown everything” theme and upon the reveal she was so pissed that she nearly choked out her friend that participated in the redecorating.

One of my advisers in college went on Trading Spaces with his wife, his sister-in-law, and her husband. No one liked the renovation and my adviser and his wife divorced 6 months later. Later conversations indicated that the show played a part in the decision to divorce.

My guess is the midwife is a lay midwife and not a nurse midwife. Lay midwives just don’t have the education or clinical experience to deal with pregnancy complications.

Here is Fiorina’s horror show. 1) Yes and no. I’d stop looking for new recruits. But I’d still send Darryl and Aaron, etc. out for recon. I don’t know about their current status (I believe it’s being fought out in court), but here in Indiana when they passed their moronic ‘religious freedom bill’ to support the Hobby Lobby decision, a “church of marijuana” declared itself in Indianapolis and claimed the right to the religious freedom to use marijuana.

I was in tears. Yesterday I heard a fucking horrific story of domestic violence in one of my student’s families. After reading this I’m considering becoming a masked vigilante.

I saw this on the news the other day. The judge took the contempt part to heart. She was dripping icy scorn. The quality of mercy was completely absent. And the woman’s pleas as she was escorted out were heart wrenching. I know it’s important to press charges. But there is no way that this woman wasn’t re-victimized.
