I’ve been buying Lands End tees for years, but I recently switched to Eddie Bauer. The fit is a bit more to my liking, though they don’t last through quite as many washes as the LE ones.

It’s kinda thin though. In the pic, you can see the pink of your skin and the top of your dark pants. My holy grail is a white tee you can’t see through.

Ritter Sport Rum Raisin Hazelnut Milk Chocolate. Other Ritter flavors are available all over, but I’ve yet to find this German version in US stores. I could buy it online easily enough, but I think starting the habit of buying candy online could be a slippery slope for me.

That should have been considered. It’s only about a 5 hour drive from OHare to Louisville. The could have easily rented a car and shared the driving.

Alexander Skarsgard was interviewed by Vanity Fair about his role as Perry, and one thing he said struck me:

I don’t think the apartment was a solution, though. There’s no way he would have left her alone if she successfully moved out. And no restraining order would have kept him away either.

I just assumed that they had enough money that whatever money she spent on the apartment wouldn’t be noticed, at least not right away.

Celeste having the financial means to get out of the house is certainly different than a lot of other DV situations, but all that money wasn’t really going to protect her from him. She married a monster, and money, smarts, a law degree, and extraordinary physical beauty couldn’t change that.

I wondered if maybe Perry assaulted Jane while Celeste was pregnant with the twins. She had trouble conceiving and several miscarriages before the boys, and presumably Perry wouldn’t have wanted to do anything to her that would jeopardize the pregnancy. Maybe he went out on the town to find someone else to abuse while…
