When your front-runner comes out and says "White people should try to understand black people more", that is being racially divisive. That will not help the issue. That will not solve the problem. That will cause a greater divide. Stoking the fire for her own political gain.

9 police officers killed within the past two weeks, mass shootings occurring almost every month in our country, terrorist attacks at least once a week elsewhere in the world, stagnant wages, people burning the American flag, throwing urine and feces at police officers, black men and women being shot unjustly (and

Since when were any of these large media companies NOT "left-leaning"? If you can't see that, well, shit.

I know I am in the minority here and by minority I mean a minuscule, smaller-than-you-can-comprehend section of the AV Club (including the writers on this site, obvious by the sheer amount of left-wing posts) but I didn't think this RNC was too bad compared to others. Not nearly as boring and monotonous, some of the

With a wife and a 3-year old son, I rarely find time to binge-watch shows. That being said, I watched 3 episodes last night, one just now at work, and will finish the other four when I get home. I figure the conversation will go like this:

I finally convinced my wife to watch it and the teenage drama was the reason she chose to stop after the first two episodes so I completely understand that issue. I tried to tell her that the teenage stuff slows waaaay down in future episodes (as it should have; weakest part of the first season IMO), but she had

The Leftovers is my favorite show of all time, better than GoT in my humble opinion. If you like character dramas such as Rectify, Bloodline, etc., you will like The Leftovers. Get past the first few episodes and it really picks up. Season 2 is some of the best TV I've seen.

I'd just like to give a slow, drawn-out clap to Michelle Monaghan. It is so refreshing seeing her in a role that allows her ability to portray emotion to shine through. Really remarkable work by her throughout the first season of this series.

Just wanted to add, I absolutely LOVED how Farmiga let Norma shine through even while she was dead. The exaggeration of arm-flopping, dead-body flopping, head rolling, etc. was so brilliantly "old Norma" (i.e. over-the-top dramatic) that I felt she was still there in her own way.

My wife pointed out the same thing you addressed first, the number of days it has been since he was released might not call for Dr. Edwards to be reaching out for his first appointment just yet. Honestly, as long as that line gets dealt with in the first or second episode of next season and doesn't just get left

This finale, while good, bugged me in a lot of ways. I think the writers of this show have done so well for so long, that when there are glaring plot holes it makes it that much harder to accept them.

Only 57 comments? Man, I seem to be drawn to shows that are so amazing yet no one watches. Rectify, Vikings, The Leftovers, The 100 (getting more popular now but still not what it deserves)…. the list could go on. Millions tune in for a crap show called Scandal but all these jems get overlooked? Something is seriously
