Adoption can be a very expensive process. There are many issues that prohibit interested would be parents from adoption.

They have to see their own counselor. It's part of ethical practice. If you have a counselor who doesn't have their own, you should find a new one. Also, are you qualified to diagnose someone as "batty nuts"? Asking for a friend and/or (social) science.
