I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rue Bonaparte. The color is absolutely perfect. But it definitely doesn't last on me. I have to reapply if I want it to last all day. :(

Which products do you buy? My question was worded badly, I think. I didn't mean "are the products crap" more like "which products are worth getting through them, rather than buying the equivalent at a drug or department store?" I know people who buy Avon frequently, but I've never heard of any "must-have" products

I've had bad luck with long-wearing liners, with many of them the effect ends up even more bizarre looking than raccoon eyes after a few hours. Like, parts of it just flake off like I've applied plastic to my eyelids. I do use eye primer. Haven't found a brand I want to purchase yet, since I have a ton of samples from

Tarte is one of those brands I always forget that I really like! Thanks, I'll check it out.

Yeah, I never thought it was all that great. I do like the new Roller Lash, but not enough to switch from my usual brands.

I've heard from other Sephora employees that Marc Jacobs' stuff is incredibly long lasting. Like the liner does NOT come off. I've been meaning to pick some up next time I have some extra cash; I have very watery eyes and always end up with raccoon face by 2pm.

Honestly, I shed so much normally, I didn't notice a difference. The Wet Brush FEELS gentler, but I couldn't say for sure.

I just discovered Wet Brush was a thing and I LOVE mine. It detangles my hair much better than a comb post-shower. I know next to nothing about hair, but mine is fine and straight, fwiw.

thank god my card was expiring... I just let it lapse and ignored the frantic emails. :)

I got that same lip butter. So terrible. Not just the color, but the texture. It was very cakey and weird, like I had just eaten a nude colored donut and smeared it all over my mouth. Hated it.

I got teased so hard the other day for having a family size bottle of Heinz in the fridge. I live by myself. I was not bothered one bit.

embrace the rolls!!!

EXACTLY THIS. Asking baristas to discuss one of the most complicated and touchy subjects in the country while expecting them to maintain "the customer is always right" service industry culture is mind-bogglingly stupid.

you must be super fun at parties

I grew up reading genre fiction, since my mom read romance novels and my dad read scifi and fantasy. My dad kept his books out on the shelf in his office. My mom hid hers in a little bookcase in her closet.

Yes, to all those things.

I'm 100% sure that if I googled "diy mascara" right now I would get plenty of hits because some people are really into that kind of shit but I'll grant you that about the different ingredients/results.

Eh, I'm really not trying to get in an argument on the damn internet, but here we go: she didn't post a picture before she put on her makeup, so you really don't have any idea if she could "get that look for free." I have red, blotchy, scarred skin and it takes quite a few products to make me look like I did nothing

No lie I want that bust. WHY don't I have a FOYER.
