So if cheese isn't supposed to be wrapped in plastic, please explain "re-create the effect of cheese papers by wrapping your cheese in wax paper, then following that with a layer of plastic wrap"

If you have rock climbing (gym or outdoors) in your area, give that a try. It's fun exercise.

Growing up I always had a curiosity towards cooking and following recipes, but I could have used a little guidance on selecting the right foods and portion control. Until the age of 30, I had really terrible eating habits that started to manifest into some minor health problems. Thankfully I was able to reign it all

I still feel that way about being independent, even though I've seen the problems it causes with trust. Still working on it. I got conflicting messages, though, from the same parent, about how I'm incomplete without a man and the role of said man must be to do the things I, as a woman, can't do (whatever those are

How to have a healthy romantic relationship. That chemical responses are not necessarily love. That love does not necessarily conquer all. What characteristics are important in a life partner. How to value myself enough to learn the above at a much younger age than I did.

We don't teach history to help you get a job, we teach history because without it people grow up to be ignorant jerks who deny that things like slavery and the Holocaust ever happened.

When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school. It's a wonder I can think at all

I'm intrigued by this concept of not eating all the cheese in one-sitting and having extra to store away for later... And, also, in hindsight ashamed as I look back to my cheese-monster eating ways.

How to talk myself up. I was always good at things that weren't socially acceptable growing up (academics). So I learned to never talk about my skills and accomplishments. Add in a side of "Nice girls don't brag" and you have a recipe for freezing up when faced with a cover letter.

check out bogleheads.com - it's a great resource. I also like mrmoneymustache.com

There are too many advice bloggers and books out there that try to convince you you can find that utopia. I think it would be better to hear that life is up and down and sometimes you just have to keep moving

How to use power-tools of any kind. They were a complete mystery to me until I bought my first electric drill when I was 35. Also pretty-much any other kind of home-maintainence more complex than changing a plug. I first painted a wall when we bought our house. I was over 40.

I'd love to see ideas on how to hide keys for those of us who live in apartments. Most of my friends and I just give a spare set to the friend who is geographically closest, but then what happens if they're away on vacation?

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I recently moved to the Seattle suburbs from the east coast. Essentially from a place with 4 seasons to a place with 9 months of overcast drizzle and 3 months of beautiful summer... Seasonal Affective Disorder is totally legit. I recently lost my good leather belt and decided to
