same here, but I got it down doing it backwards. I guess it took me five years and 4 tickets.

I can’t stop seeing the Honda Pilot, someone said Highlander and I was convinced, but someone brought up that the brake lights were too high up. I looked for something that looked like the highlander with higher brake lights and thus, Pilot.

Has the right widening of the hips over the lights, dork spot where the wiper would be, you can barely see a discoloration of what would appear to be chrome, dark spot on the top of the rear bumper and a cutout with filleted edges for hatch clearance.

I’m pretty damn sure you got it.

I see a dark spot I thought might be a badge, but on closer inspection is almost certainly a rear wiper

...that was the joke

ban all traffic
If you own a car, you go to gulag
dream of car in gulag
Get beaten for dream of bourgeois thing like driving
Dream of potato in gulag

Such is life in Latvia

Not my car but my friend had a 1972 VW Beetle as a first car in highschool. He brought it over to my dad’s place and we wrenched on it to getting working right, just me and him since my dad was away on business. We get his beetle not-dieseling on shutdown, call it good enough, and decide to set off to the land of Taco

when can we expect penguinology? now there’s a religion I would give my life savings to.

that would be great until someone attempts a flip, then it would suck.

I have never had trouble moving pork tamales through airports, but I’ve brought them in or out of the country. don’t judge you know your jealous that you never thought of eating tamales on the plane.

I’m a machinist, think they would let me bring a mill on a plane or should I stick to not working on vacation?

As far as I can tell Buk is the name of the missile system consisting of acquisition and targeting radars, a command element, missile launchers, and a logistics element — mounted on tracked vehicles.. Specifically a Buk consists of a tracked mobile carrier with 4x 9m38 missiles on board and a radar with a 21' mast.

So

Good to know I’m not the only person who lies awake at night and is terrorized by horrible visions of thinks about things like M3 Ute conversions.

never knew I needed a ratrod hearse

500 dollar 1988 RX-7.
That sat outside.
Under a particularly squirrel filled walnut tree.
For several years.
While the previous owner was in prison.
It had also caught on fire from a fuel damper failure.
Twice.

That doesn’t surprise me at all. This guy never sold anything, he just used it to make some crazy hot rods and trucks for himself.

I’m aware of that. My dad worked for GM and one of his friends there had a 5.7 olds that “fell off a truck in the proving grounds” in his old Suburban tow vehicle. He took pristine care of that engine and it had almost 500,000 on it when he pulled it and scrapped the rusty truck, but blah blah blah conventional wisdom

Noooo, you know everybody loves going down to the dealership and dealing with a guy covered in badly concealed prison tattoos and his friend the wrestling jock like the one that beat you up every couple days in High School. It’s absolutely fantastic to haggle out a price with people

On the topic of it being a tour, can we expect more episodes like the specials where they travel vast distances through foreign countries to do silly things like find the “source” of the Nile or build a bridge over the River Kok?

WE DON’T SPEAK OF THOSE DAYS
THOSE DARK, OLDSMOBILE DAYS.
