I’m truly convinced that this trend of giving attention to silly opinions like “it’s wrong to use fat suits in movies” and “black people can’t be mermaids” is why we have flat earthers. We used to ignore the dumbest opinions, not amplify them for clicks. 

No, I would imagine that losing your child and then being told it never happened and was just a political stunt is what hell is like.

The worst thing to happen to cinema lately is everyone thinking that a movie represents a whole group of people, rather than just being a story about a human being and their personal experience.

Katie Rife is not a tiny person, but she’s hardly 600 pounds.  I rather doubt she knows what that’s like either.

OK, but are there any 600-pound actors, period? There are very few people of that weight to begin with.

The thing about her is that she looked 50 when she was 30, which gave her the Blue Hawaii and Manchurian Candidate mother roles, but she still looked 50 well into her 70s, so it evened out, I guess.

I don’t know if minds are really degrading or if we just see more of people’s thought processes now, but god damn, it really seems like people can’t deal with analogies anymore.

I always thought of Cabot Cove when there was a Law & Order episode involving Hudson University, which is clearly a college only parents wanting to get rid of their children in violent fashion would send them to.  I bet life insurance was completely unavailable in that town.

I think it was more of a TGI Fridays kind of vibe, the striped shirts and forced fun attitude. Bennigan’s was more laid back, from what I remember.

What some people seem to fail to understand;

At this point, given this has gone on for years regardless of whatever treatment he is or isn’t getting at the time, it’s pretty clear whatever mental health issues he has don’t have anything to do with having his shitty views. All they seem to do is affect just how vocally he’s currently expressing those shitty views.

I worked for McDonalds for 7 years as a store manager, yeah; its absolute garbage pay for a garbage job. 10/1 beef only takes fucking 13 seconds to cook, and you literally throw buns in a toaster, squirt ketchup, mustard, fake onions, a pickle, maybe some cheese, wrap it and send it to the front.
