I don't think any thinking person would still vote for the Civil Rights act or should have in the first place. It was a noble idea but failed to do its intended job and in many was did just the opposite. You should judge at laws on how they actually perform, not virtue of their intent.

It would be nice if it got some of his core positions better understood. A lot of people have crazy assumptions about what he represents.
