Nice piece in the New Republic about this.

Full disclosure: the ring my wife wears wasn't worth $10k, but it was somewhere between $5k and $10k. Let's leave it at that.
I personally vote for Samantha Bee to take over the Report.
Yeah. And also ending the show he's currently doing... which actually is groundbreaking. :/
I want Sam Bee to have Colbert's spot.
This is bittersweet, for sure. I'm happy for Stephen and his big, fancy new job. However, I think what he and Jon Stewart do is so important, and I hate to lose his voice in the political sphere.
God I hope not, she'll just be another corpratist.
Elizabeth Warren, now there's a first ever female president you could be proud of, as well as just being a fantastic progressive choice.
(Heck, her or Bernie Sanders)
ELIZABETH WARREN FOR ALL
I don't know about her, several times she's struck me as an opportunist...as somebody for whom the power is more important than principles. This obviously doesn't make her different than most politicians (and still better than W) but I'm not standing here waiting anxiously to be able to vote for her.

In which "got" = a PR person gave it to me and I gave it to Kate. No purchase was made.
My first thought upon viewing the upskirt pic was "the Queen is going to have someone's ass in a sling over this". Some poor seamstress is probably working overtime correcting this oversight.
I think this is true of mostly everything in a kid's life. All kids are different and they all require different things. Its up to parents to make "intelligent" decisions on what to do with their child. Although this is easier said than done.
