He also makes it sound like Cox is upset that he didn't get the role, rather than doing an interview and having a laugh about the audition with the interviewer…

Also, who says that he was pissed about it, and is now whining? The original article is just a funny story that he laughs about saying how it was hard for him to break out of the Murdock character to audition for another role. All AV Club and this comment thread has done is make Cox look like a dick.

Yeah, it's a really clickbaity article that the commentariat here bought hook, line, and sinker without reading the source articles. But hey, then we wouldn't be able to seethe at his "hubris" through the interwebs if it were otherwise!

He apparently can't tell a funny story about an audition he didn't land, either. At least not without being lambasted by people who don't read the source articles.

Yeah, that'd make sense IF he was complaining, but it was really more of an anecdotal story. So, why are we being such a dick to him again? I thought we liked movies and actors here?

I know it's not nearly as fun as thinking that he's complaining about not getting cast in the role, but I'd like to point out that if you actually read the source articles, he was just relating an anecdotal story about the audition, and how he's delved so deep into his Daredevil role that he has trouble breaking out

If I escape from Jabba's Barge I'll be FLYING BLIND ON A ROCKET CYCLE!

Why is it that Sci-Fi creative types like Lucas, Roddenberry, and Carter strike gold once, and then nothing but dreck for (pretty much) the rest of their careers?

I don't think he really needs to be jacked for the JL film. I think that everyone else needed to be, and he asked if he could get the studio to pay for his gym time, so he was finally able to get into the best shape of his life on someone else's dime. I sure as shit would do that if I was cast in a film…

Not unless he magically whisked Tyene from Dorne to King's Landing. She was part of the group that assassinated Doran, and by that point Jamie's boat had already arrived with Myrcella's body. So he's back in Westeros, but since they didn't save Myrcella, I'm guessing he won't get that prettier wife and larger castle

Uh, Mr. Nimoy, we have ten minutes left…

I tried to like this movie, after all the great reviews it received, but I just could not make it through the film because of the chav accents. I tried, really hard, especially since I act as a hobby and usually have an ear for accents. But this one just beat me down with it so much that I couldn't understand half of

"Know many murderers, do ya? Have a seat over there…"

Well, apparently he had a "rough holiday weekend" so he released a statement about the Documentary. I'm surprised that it's only the Holiday weekend that was ruined, and not his career when the Wisconsin Bar Association called to revoke his license permanently (which if it hasn't happened yet, should soon).

Apparently sexual misconduct and harassment with a DV victim is only worth a 4 month suspension in Wisconsin…

Please define the reasonings behind "pretty good villain". In what way was he "pretty good"? Bana should have been nominated for a Razzie for that role, and only after Abrams/Orci/Kurtzman should have won one for writing absolutely NOTHING of motivation, well thought intent, or cohesive backstory for Nero.

Though I think Stoya is taller than Gillian Jacobs.

Annie's Boobs or Annie's Boobs?

Robin Williams: The acting in porn movies is always so bad. There's always that one girl who's like

Don't ask me how I know this, but as I recall, there was one set to be released in 2013, and was on a schedule of parodies to be produced, but the company that was doing it either cancelled the production or the company went under. Which is a shame, because if done correctly it might actually be hilarious.
