“Conservatives” are getting bashed on this because it’s the Republicans on the FCC board who are going to vote to overturn net neutrality (none of the Democrats are voting to re-classify the internet), and Trump put Pai in place to do this. It wasn’t a party-line issue 5 years ago, but it is now.

Conservatives are in bed with Trump. You are a conservative. That means you don’t get to complain when Trump is hogging the blankets.

Right, its not like conservatives are always in favor of deregulating things and removing protections for consumers and workers. Who could’ve foreseen they would want to deregulate the internet?

“(((They))) are cucking the shit out of everything they touch”

Ever wonder why there is no conservative daily show or Colbert reports? It’s because they aren’t funny and like you said it’s like watching an alien culture. Comedy usually comes from half truths and recent conservatism isn’t known for well.. any truth, mostly just oppressive lies.

Failure creates one of two things (speaking as a ‘failed’ creative myself).

Patton Oswalt on Twitter has pointed out the weird pattern that seems to happen with a decent amount ( I wouldn’t say majority but a good amount) of right wing guys are failed comedians. There are more than just a handful of people who seem to be failed entertainers who somehow end up in politics. Huckabee for sure

This is my job function. My actual job function is producing these kinds (not this one) of “humor” videos for internal events. You can offer something better, and can plead for something better...but in the end you are going to be hitting the reload button on jokes that weren’t that good from 2 years ago and the

That’s because the jokes aren’t inspired by the need to communicate and connect, like those of actual good comedians. They’re inspired by the need to troll their imagined enemies.

It’s always interesting to watch conservatives attempt humor. The references are almost always hilariously out of date, the attempts at self-deprecation are usually painfully forced, and it comes across like they decided to improv the first take and then felt it was comedy gold that couldn’t be topped. It’s like

Totally. I don’t really worry about where the black ice is, because if it’s an icy/wet day you’re safest if you just assume it’s EVERYWHERE.

Exactly. I go slow, but its other drivers that I really worry about. Last year a car coming in the opposite directed drifted/slid into my lane. If I had been a few seconds ahead we would have collided or I would have gone into a ditch.

You’re spot-on, here. I’d only add that increasing the distance between you and the car in front of you is also a must. Keep any braking under the “light touch” category. I always add a couple car-lengths in snowy or icy conditions. Slow and steady, no quick moves.

Best advice for avoiding black ice is just stay at home.

So with growing up in Minnesota and driving on ice and Black Ice for 4-5 months a year (some winters more, some less) there is one bit of advice I can recommend.

To be fair, there is no physical evidence that Moore did what he did, it is all accusation, so there is a chance it is made up*. On the other, Weinstein is “liberal” and Jewish therefore...

For trotting out this oldest and most damning of Southern colloquialisms in the most perfect of contexts, I award you one star, and all of my Schrute Bucks.

Bless her heart. Burn in shit.

It’s really hard, as a female, to go to the polls and vote for someone, even though those allegations were so long ago, even though they are just allegations. After Harvey Weinstein, it’s just hard. I think this is a referendum on Harvey Weinstein, not on President Trump.

“ESPN reported that the Pirates are listening on Cole, a former first-round pick of the Yankees who never signed with them, and the two teams could match up well in a potential deal.”

Well, there ya go.
