My brother replaced rivited rear shock mounts and spring hangers on my old Ranger by just acetylene-torching the rivets off, he said it was a remarkably quick and easy procedure. Of course, you have to be good with a torch.

Came for Smokey Yunick, leaving disappointed.
Seriously, I hate to ask what is a bit of a cliche, but did you read the article AT ALL? I mean they literally talk about how the rates have doubled but the mechanics pay has gone up by about 2 dollars an hour. Yeah those mechanics sure are crooked! Good thing theres you to stand up for those wonderful car…
As the article alludes to, the ridiculous hourly rate isn’t going to the mechanics. The dealership is pocketing the majority of it, and when they raise the rate from $95 to that $125, only ~$3 is going to the mechanic. The other 90% is going to the dealer’s profit.
Didn’t have time to read the whole article, but my input thus far is flat rate is a cancer in my industry. It encourages spite and cut-throat competition amongst the techs and writers to the point where a “green” tech won’t ask questions if they aren’t sure of something because they don’t wanna be taking food off of…
Gonna catch hell for this, but exhaust on any modern car.

You know.... I’m all for small government and think in general that government regulations are way too draconian, but even I am glad the NHTSA stepped in on this one. I’m even impressed with their methodology. They didn’t say an outright “no, you cant do this, cease and desist right now!” They said “Hey, this seems…
Thankfully the trainer had a can of that magic aerosol spray that cures all ailments. Both players were able to finish the game.
Currently on eBay.
Considering you can get a 99-01 with 85k miles on it, no paint issues and services records... for $15k, I don’t think anything was stolen.
So what you are telling me is that you are an actual fan of the team, not a fan of the fans, making you, therefore, one of the best fans in baseball.
Such a damn shame. That duffel bag had one more day until retirement.
Hardest thing I ever did was sell my first car, a turbocharged Plymouth Sundance Duster that ran 12s in the quarter and took first place at a bunch of car shows. The person I was married to at the time made me sell it, and then she cleaned out her closets and disappeared a month later.
I cried about that car leaving,…
