I feel so bad about the plight of Black women in USA. I cannot believe any self respecting Black woman would pay to see a film about guys who made their careers on violent misogyny and STILL have the nerve to be misogynist AND RACIST against women who look like them by putting out such a disgusting color struck…

Did you know, that someone can get writing credit for their songs, if they only write the lyrics? This is probably what took place, as her "team" of producers and musicians include "pro musical writers for hire".

I guess I will have to respectfully disagree. Because, when I ride the trains here in NYC, I hear a whole lot of average young girls sound JUST LIKE THAT. she uses a technique rather than actually having a vocal range, or depth.

She sings using Auto Tune. If you search the internet, you may actually find some clips of her sounding horrifically mediocre, because the auto-tune didn't sync right. They are out there.

Auto-Tune is her friend.

yeah, artists like her are why I still go to concerts and buy live recordings... to hear the genius of real live raw talent do amazing and spontaneous things

Eldrich I, am with you, The Sisters of Mercy actually wrote their music and performed it to without autotune..albeit they had a drum machine.
