If an unborn embryo was run over by one of these trains, maybe then we could get enough votes to do something.

Technically, Hammond was in Top Gear.
The UK is still part of Europe, despite what the Little Britain people want you to think. It’s on the Eurasian plate and almost everyone outs the UK would include it as part of Europe geographically and culturally.
Not my problem, I’m expensing this trip.
Not if people don't use it
I live in an area with steeeeeep hills. Having an E bike is great because I can get some exercise without killing myself trying to power up a 15% grade. In spring, summer, and fall I ride my bike to work and get my blood pumping before starting my day without having to arrive at work a sweaty, drippy, mangled mess…
Weird use of England in the title.
Maybe, and I’m just spitballing here, the people who choose to live in the car-free neighborhood are the people who choose to not own a car at all.
“Agreed. I remember that, when flights were temporarily grounded after 9/11, a study found marginally raised atmospheric temperatures in the USA and attributed it to the lack of cloud formation due to contrails.”
Clouds do help reflect sunlight, but they act as a blanket to hold surface heat down against the Earth’s surface, rather than letting it radiate outward. Consider: You use a blanket to keep you warm in bed during the winter--why? Because said blanket helps hold the heat in. Multiple light blankets (otherwise known as…
During the day, clouds keep light/heat from getting in. At night, clouds keep IR light/heat from escaping. Not sure which has the greater impact day or night.
I don't understand. I thought studies said that even just a few percent more cloud cover could help slow climate change but here we are saying these contribute to it? What's the difference between cloud that lowers temps and clouds that increase it? Is it more to do with the temp of the region they are in?
Ah, the 70s, when an actor could be plus-sized and still be the star rather than the jolly sidekick.
I’d let that baby shit in my driveway.
I had one, very reliable. The only problem I had was having a repair shop(Lake County Foreign) do the front brakes and bearings and they screwed it up. I wish I could buy a small, affordable, reliable hatchback.
Festivas were base transportation units. Extremely reliable and cheap to repair. You need to reevaluate your position. BTW I own a ‘19 Fiesta ST as well.
Drive one and it’ll change your mind!
