This isn't really a space for education and discussion.  It's a space for fanboys to rave.  I'd direct you to a place for education and discussion on the internet, but I haven't found one yet.

She had to die because the plot demanded it.

My big beef with this episode, one which I can't ignore like fanboys will, is the fact that Walter just happens to see his former pals on TV giving pivotal information for him.  What a coincidence that he just happened to be there at just the right time to see that and he just happened to see it on the TV!  That is

You mean that show that was so bad it got cancelled twice?

I had planned on quitting after Season 4 but then Rita got whacked so I decided to hang in there for one more season just to see how that played out.  It didn't play out well at all, so I bailed.  After watching the finale, I do not regret my choice.

You said it.  I'm tempted to rewatch the first season to see if it really is even that good as it's been years since I watched it.  I quit watching the show after season five, though I was wondering why I was still watching it even before then.  I just watched the last few episodes this season out of morbid curiosity

I liked the first two seasons, but it's been a long time since I've seen them.

I guess Dexter just wanted to sing.

I agree.  I love 'Brain Candy' but I thought 'Death Comes To Town' was awful.

Because they usually don't need the money.  A person only needs so much money to live.  Everything beyond that is superfluous.  I mean, what's the practical difference between having $50 million in  your bank account or $75 million?  Sure, the mathematical difference is $25 million, but what can you do with $75

Are they running out of material to rip off?

Say what you want about Charlie Sheen, at least he didn't stab a random old guy in the eye just because he was Asian.

I had decided to give up on the show and skip Season 8, but there was one night I just couldn't find anything on at that time slot so I watched an episode and it was excruciating.  Later that night, I saw some repeats of older episodes on TBS and decided to watch them to remind myself why I used to like the show

"I can say this much: If a few weeks back, someone had offered me the
opportunity to fly off to Argentina rather than watching the rest of his
horseshit, I’d be south of the border tangoing my ass off right about
now."

I'm really surprised this show is so popular.  I hated it and couldn't get past all the bullshit retconning they did with the established mythology of the show.  Korra knowing she was the avatar when she was a child and knowing how to bend three of the elements goes against everything we learned in the first show.

I find the pedophile comment odd considering the woman is 21 years old now.  Maybe someday society will come to grips with the fact that child actors age and grow up just like everyone else does.

He used to host a history show, back when the so-called educational channels showed educational shows instead of crap about Bigfoot and Rednecks.  It was a good show.  It was nice seeing a host that was actually interested in the subject for once and wasn't just some actor collecting a paycheck.

When I was a kid, we spent far more time learning about WWII than the Civil Rights Movement.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I absolutely despised this episode to the point that I think I'm done with the show.  I've never been a fan of their political episodes because they always smacked of desperation.  "Hey, let's make fun of this hot button topic to piss people off!".  One problem is that by the time
