The cost of a new charger is not the problem. The problem is how they're lying about the reasoning...because the real reason is obvious but sounds pretty negative. The added cost of including it wouldn't affect the consumer even a few dollars, but it'll save Nintendo a ton.

Not only do I not pre-order, I've just stopped buying these games until the GOTY edition comes out with all the DLC but for only like 39.99. Its sad, but I just cant keep up with all the downloads/passes/etc, that make you end up paying like $75 for the game, when a little patience will knock roughly half the price…
and you wonder why people like indie games. you pay $15 and you get all the game. not 1/4th the game and expect to pay another $30 to get the rest of it.
Its a shame that preordering DLC is a thing and that DLC most constitutes of stuff that used to come on the disc. How I miss the older days of gaming.
