What drove me off console is the $60-year tax to play online, and risking that the next generation will not be backwards compatible, leaving you stuck with a bunch of old hardware in the house (until emulation makes it all playable on one single PC).

Not to mention that the race for game exclusivity is going to increase the prices of games. This is not competition, it’s monopolizing intelectual property.

I also linked this video in another post, but it’s relevant. This is what the PC gaming industry looks like in the future, including, the return of piracy.

Microsoft didn’t stop selling Minecraft on the PlayStation or on the Mac.

It’s not competition since they are not on a level-playing field. What they are doing is acquiring  a monopoly of properties so they actually don’t have to compete.

The current disaster of the PC launchers is also happening to streaming. This results in less competition, not more.

What have they done to Sonic? Damn you, Michael Bay, it’s all your fault.

The tweets you posted in this article aren’t 1% as offensive as the average MAGA tweet, unless you think he crossed the line with Beyoncé.

I’d like for Epic to compete with Steam on a level-playing field. Would you use their platform if they didn’t extortion developers?

Now, I’m not a Steam loyalist, I have a few games purchased through GOG and Itch. If a game offers a Steam code either in GOG or Itch, you bet I’ll buy the game in those platforms first. Against my wishes, but with an open mind, I purchased The Division 2 through the Epic Games Store, and my fears were realized. Some

Steve Jobs didn’t understand his two best selling desktops, the Apple II and the original translucent iMac, and even iOS, took off because of games.

You can pair any modern console controller to any Apple device.

Whoever plays Bruce Lee looks very realistic in the trailer, besides the racist accent.
