Despite the corniness, Alita wouldn’t be the first teenage girl (she’s stuck in a 15-year-old brain) who falls madly in love for a bad boy. Remember there was some attempts at redemption on part of the boy, but he also didn’t have the time to make amends.

Robert Rodriguez did the same with Sin City, he packed too much story in a short amount of time, so it was difficult to get invested on characters that looked really cool, but went as quickly as they came. On the bright side, that makes both films very rewatchable. I think I’ll be going to the theater to watch Alita a

The world of Alita is so rich, yet so accessible. From the martial arts that she uses, to the Motorball league, to The Fall to the Bounty Hunters, they packed so much lore into one movie it’s mind-boggling. Never mind that the action sequences took my breath away. I don’t think I have seem something like this since

I had to make a top 5 list:

Since the cutscene of the original Resident Evil 2 where they dispatch Mr X from a helicopter is not in this game, we can’t tell if they really deployed two of them.

The company just reported record profits.

This industry needs to unionize.

We had to watch the direw0lves get brutally killed, but Ser Pounce is killed off camera.

But to me, modern games don’t bring the same difficulty as the old school, because there aren’t the limitations on continues or lives(in the same way).

That RC plane mission in San Andreas is #2 of my list of more difficult levels I beat in games. Have you tried defeating Sigrun the Valkyrie in God of War 4? Probably the hardest thing to do in videogames these days.

Dear Lord. Knights of Cydonia on expert difficulty is no joke.

To expand on my comment, I can only state that I passed the Laguna Seca S License level back in 2000, and 19 years later, if you put me in the real Laguna Seca track, I can drive it blindfolded.

The hardest game level I have ever played was the Laguna Seca track in Gran Turismo 2 to get the S license.

I bought this game as soon as it was released. I am still at the Sewers on my first run with Leon. Every time I play it, I have to quit it after 10 minutes because my nerves can’t handle it.

Why do such cool stuff for a company that hates its fans so much? I’m going to grab my tea and wait for the Nintendo lawyers to take it from here.

Some alternatives are coming up this year: Anthem and The Division 2. If either is a dud, they will be dropped like a hot potato. I think publishers are starting to shy away from these high-budget games-as-service stuff, not all of them can turn into a GTA 5 or a Fortnite.

I couldn’t agree more. Kotaku editors may love him because he was one of them, but some of his boneheaded decisions were jaw-dropping.

It’s also full circle for Bungie, which created Halo for Microsoft, was then purchased by Microsoft.

I have to admit, one game that inexplicably caught me off guard in 2018 was Cultist Simulator. I probably spent as much time playing it as God of War, and I think it should be mentioned on a year’s list.

Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san Is not on this list. Try again.
