That’s my dealbreaker with Destiny. The sad thing is that it’s completely unnecessary. Someone who worked at Kotaku must be fired from Bungie so they can finally fix the game.

The grind needed to reach DZ50 is inhumane. I thought only Destiny could get away with that grindy nonsense.

Yeah, I was so bored this weekend that this game forced me to play another game. Unfortunately it was Firewatch, so two hours later, I was back to the Division with nothing to do. One of these days, this game will force me to go outside and get fresh air.

I got a leather jacket with the logo. I’m not wearing anything else. The hats have not reached TF2's level yet.

Your loss if you want to miss the clusterfuck that the Dark Zone is going to become with those random supply drops.

File under: Rearranging the deck chairs of the Titanic.

“I hope Nintedo is cool with this” is normally followed by Nintendo shutting something down.

They should have Isaac Newton rolling in his grave as an Easter egg in GTA 5.

It’s still the cutest “fuck you” I’ve seen.

I really want to believe when people are saying they’re having so much fun, but knowing that these people are masters at marketing and behavioral psychology, I don’t know if it’s more what they want you to put in your head. There’s a well-known marketing gimmick that when two products of equal quality are sold, people

It took a long time, but finally Kotaku gives recognition where it's due.

It’s bullshit. No one has a single proof matchmaking would not work in the game. Nothing but clever marketing. How are you going to trust people who keep you addicted to a game with Skinner Box tactics?

The best thing in this game is the journey, not the destination. Take it easy. Chill. Shoot some rats.

I already level capped, but my gear is still far from top notch. This is a game that rewards people who play it casually. I log maybe an hour a day to do the Dailies, buy or craft something and see what gun skin is for sale. Hardcore people who race to get everything as fast as possible, using exploits and tricks, hit

That's going to be PvP with an actual purpose. Things are going to get ugly over there.

The comparisons are because Kotaku is like the unofficial Destiny forum, but The Division is far better.

That claim that Destiny can’t have matchmaking because the mechanics are so uniquely difficult is so much marketing bullshit, the reason you’ll never see it in the game is because they're afraid people will find out.

What about more content, in-game lore, a well-laid out plan for the first year, reasonable loot for time spent, upcoming trading? That you have all the tools available for playing 100% of the game right there is a huge deal. Destiny doesn’t hold a candle to The Division.

Still no matchmaking for 1/3 of the game, nor any social tools. Loot system still infuriating.
