Battlefield 3 is still a blast to play, and better than 90% of shooters out now. I guess you’d check 4 if you have the new consoles.

The value of those pioneer multiplayer games is their lasting power. While people still play Quake 2, Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty right now is a $100 a year subscription service, whatever you buy now will be obsolete next Fall.

The answer rests if you’re a shooter bro or not. The Xbone has Halo and Titanfall on top of the other shooters Sony has.

The marketing failed from the moment they named the console Xbox One (it’s the third Xbox). But they are mimicking the PS3, which had a terrible launch, only to redeem themselves in the long run. They are on the right track now, Sony isn’t.

The corporate world likes to manufacture in China because its government will let them do whatever the fuck they want. Now they know why you shouldn’t.

I owned the first two Nintendo consoles, and after I got the first Playstation, I never looked back. That said, the PS4 is probably going to be my last Playstation. It’s the first console I’ve ever got buyer’s remorse after getting it. The few issues I have with it:

The Witcher 3 made me interested into buying the novels, I just finished the first one. I can't think of another videogame with that sort of influence.

I agree with this award. The Witcher 3 stood out among that list of great games. I think Rocket League should have been among the pack.

I was surprised the presenter brought the issue live on the show. Seemed at first that everyone was satisfied with Jack Bauer picking up the trophy.

Interesting that I finally see on Kotaku the difference between user scores and critic scores on Metacritic. While user scores are usually lower, I think a big gap between user and critic scores may indicate for whom the game was for. The best example is Mad Max, a game poo-pooed at Kotaku, which the players gave a

The thing I see is the bulk of women play mobile games. When it comes to consoles and PC, the women to men ratio seems pretty similar to the judge’s.

Never mind that some Star Wars game came out recently, here’s something for you before you check it out.

Cue picture of Ronda Rousey getting kicked in the face.

I think many will agree with me that Fallout 4 is the least buggy Bethesda launch ever.
