Destiny is essentially, FarmVille FPS. Addictive like crack, grindy as fuck, a lot of people hate it, and you need to spam your friends to help you out.

The raid is kind of walled to a few people who just don't pickup a game and play it. The majority of people who had played Destiny had not played the raid for one or two basic impediments. Mainly, lack of matchmaking.
The "commendations" currency was the ultimate "fuck you" to people ponying up money for this game. It's incredible that in only a few months, this game has so many currencies re grinds and upgrade roadblocks you can't keep up with all of them. With this pace, in a year you will need three dozen currencies to get gear…

I think Street Fighter has a Windows-type release cycle. Street Fighter 1 and 3 were duds, Street Fighter 2 and 4 were successful.

Advanced Warfare seriously shot themselves in the foot by never addressing the things that have plagued the series since the beginning: camping, crappy spawns, gameplay and maps that reward K/D over winning matches or playing the objective.
