They enjoy being paid by production companies to market their films. More than journalistic integrity!

While on paper that is great because fuck private medical insurance companies, there are also a lot of people that work for those companies that would be out of a job.

Europe spent a couple hundred years telling their religious wackos and misfit toys, “You’re unhappy here? Just fuck off to America, then.” and now they’re wondering how our country got so damn crazy.

Wars in the Middle East, tax cuts, border walls, kids in cages, and my right to own an assault rifle are in the Bible. Healthcare ain't.

Wow.

I remember that episode! Maren Jensen (always Athena to me) was a ventriloquist dummy come to life. Annette was the ventriloquist.

The doctor was such a fucking creep! He always grossed me out when I was a kid, but re-watching the Love Boat as an adult? WOW. I have severe seasickness or caught norovirus from the midnight buffet & you’re hitting on me??

oh ho, you mean flipping fervently between Saturday night Live and Bleu Nuit on channel 5, looking for nipples on Emmanuelle v. Predator, or failing that, a funny Jim Belushi sketch

or was that just Quebec

Henry Rollins? These are strange times, indeed.

y’all remember the Fantasy Island / Love Boat crossovers? There was one with Village People and Loni Andersen and Stubing’s maritime love child Vicki.   The 70s were whack.

I don’t know about a crush, but he’s definitely in that zone with Ernest Borgnine and Roddy McDowell of ubiquitous character actors who felt like childhood friends to me.

Saturday nights, I used to watch Loveboat at 9pm and then Fantasy Island at 10 ......... I was a bit of an odd child. I seem to remember a particularly erotic episode where Maren Jensen was doing naughty things to Annette Funicello

It’s kind of weird that I consider Fantasy Island the intellectually better of the two shows and I remember liking how it wasn’t limited by locale, but other than an occasional reference to the opening (“da plane, da plane”, white suits, Mr. Roarke and “Welcome to Fantasy Island”), Love Boat is the one from which I

Oh I remember that too. I do remember Fantasy Island as being kinda freaky. Once an episode made me and my babysitter run screaming from the room. It involved a dude with a wolf’s head.

Used to watch the original back to back with The Love Boat way back when. Good times. So many incredible guest stars!

I don’t see how Deadpool constantly flirting with and groping male characters can be interpreted as not addressing his sexual fluidity. Yes he’s in a serious relationship with a woman, but it doesn’t stop him.

thats the trouble with tribbing.

“what has to be the queerest comic book movie to date”

And my god is she right about Bobby Peru. He may be the most purely vile character I ever recall seeing on film. Every second he was with Sailor and Lula you just knew something terrible was about to happen. His death scene it etched in my brain.

Well I think if you watch the film and that’s what you’re thinking of, you’re a moron. I mean not you personally...of course.
