It wasn’t THAT bad (season one - haven’t tried season 2) and the guy they got for it at least looks like the character envisioned in the book

It’s Alive probably doesn’t belong on this list, but it’s a lot better than you remember. All hail King Cohen!
I got lucky: living in the suburbs to NYC I got six main channels, plus VHF and UHF and just a lot of craziness.
Well I was about 4-5 so I’m good with it. I hope you’re okay with deeply shaming a 4 year old.
Oddly, the UK was where Big Star started having their resurgence: your music press loved them in the 70's and from what I read in most bios of the band where the 3rd album first got a release: plus they put #1 Record and Radio City out as a double album for you guys.
I say go for it.
Lords of Flatbush, The Wandereres, heck even Sha-Na-Na...as a kid in the 70's I thought the 50's was the greatest decade ever. I named my first pet (a dog) Fonzy.
It’s a lot better than I thought it would be. Matt Berry of course being incredible throughout it. I also like the “world building” of the show - it definitely builds up the supporting cast and I love the whole “Gods being petty” portions.
This is accurate. Pretty much season 2 until Steve left Marcy are all gold.
All I can think of with yet another biopic....
You’ve been warned...
Won’t someone PLEASE think of the children?!?!?!?!?
Edi Patterson for me. In an incredible ensemble cast that includes John Goodman just killing it, she still stands out.
Oh, I don’t like the Doors. But the Guess Who are damn good.
I agree with movie version Lester Bangs on “The Doors”
Who are these people who speak highly of him?
You stole my joke! Also, damn right this should say Weird Al.
Would “Artists” write all their own music, out of curiousity or require say 12 co-writers and tons of samples then? Can you define ‘artist’?
