God speed good writer, and best of luck on all future endeavors.

It is with the heads up the lead is completely unappealing. But it has it’s charm and the “hit men/exterminators” are pretty great.

Oh, absolutely: I love Fast Times as well.

I was 9 in the summer of 82, and I hated ET with the passion of a thousand suns. I wanted Star Wars and got...well, ET.

He’s definitely great, which is why I think he’d have killed as the lead as opposed to the other guy who has the charisma (at least in Crimewave) of a sidewalk. And not a fancy sidewalk with paintings and stuff.

Nah...not compared to that lump of coal who got the main part.

Decent list: I won’t lie in that I’d drop Spidey 2 a bit, but I can’t argue with this. In regards to Evil Dead 1 vs 2, I think a lot of it is how much you love the 3 Stooges. Me, I love them so....

Crimewave would jump up this list if they had let Raimi cast Bruce Campbell as the main character, as opposed to that lump they have instead. Per Campbell it was originally going to be him but studio interference...

Unless they’re going all in with the Albert Goldman (admittedly probably mostly false but very entertaining) bio count me out...

Oh yeah - as an old I was surprised to find out folks still know and give a shit about him. It’s apparently way worse in the UK going by this Irish kid who drinks at the bar by me. Because the king never toured over there, there’s a huge mystique about the guy.

Now playing

I can’t believe I missed this! I loved your writing and as a fellow old I also loved Columbo. I’d be lying if I didn’t love “lesser” detective series as well though. Just watching this list of guest stars makes my eyes tear up.

I’ve been re-watching them with my 7 year old and the first few “seasons” are just crap. They only get good midway when the Legion of Doom pops up.

That kind of sums up my views personally.

Listen, you’re a woman lawyer and he’s recognitions, who is the be all end all of social discourse, manners and intent on the web. You’re just wrong, okay? ;)

A woman lawyer? Quick, catch my monocle before I fall with it!

I know very little about basketball and I’ve really enjoyed this show so far. I don’t think West comes off bad: I think if anything he really comes off as nuanced and driven. In regards to the drinking and anger, it’s amplified a bit but at the same point he’s not some insane, violent maniac.

I saw them twice, once very epically with Slayer back in the early 2000's if memory kind of serves. Great stuff.

I’ve been waiting for an excuse to play my Wah-Wah again!

RIP. Loved him in Mad Men and I can’t believe I didn’t figure out he’s TTG Santa (who is an awesome, awesome villain - lousy garbage kids)

I’m still waiting on some details...and proof.
