As someone who has read a LOT of the early Parker books, I’m legit envious of Wu.

I come from...the FUTURE! But anyway, I agree with you.
That sentence was too lo
And what about in-between zero and five? With more consonants than vowels unlike those dirty Italians, of course.
Damn straight, ace. I was just curious about where my idiot forefathers came from.
Hollywood Exec #1: What about an Opossum film for the indie crowd?
Brad Pitt is an incredible character actor trapped in the body of a leading man. He’s definitely great in those sort of roles.
As someone who recently found out he’s Welsh descent (and not Irish which I always herad) this...actually, not sure how to feel. How DO you tell a Welshman apart from anyway?
I thought they (sadly) cancelled the Unicorn...
It’s a two for one deal! Baby Billy doesn’t get anything from it, it’s done from the love in his heart!
I feel like someone may have rewound the mud wrestling scene more than once...
I’d never seen the gentleman before this series, but I have to admit he’s pretty good. My father loved the Reacher series and I read a few despite my dislike of that genre. They’re not bad, if formulaic. Not really my thing. But Ritchson is BETTER than the character I remember from the books I read. I remember…
Oh yeah, and the first one as well I’m sure. Those are both great punk n roll albums/EP and for Albini, I think the turn to their power-pop thing was a betrayal.
That first line was meant sarcastically and you’re right of course. Your cost of living and living wage is vastly different based on region. As an example if I make $140K in NY/LI, I’m doing okay. Not great, but not paycheck to paycheck unless I really live outside my means. Whereas if I moved to North Carolina like…
The sad part is the first sentence is ironic in how many times I see fellow NYC and LI residents post that. Repeatedly.
SO I live in NY and I’d KILL for a house at 300k
His thing was that they ‘betrayed’ the punk and hardcore sound they started with. Which I get to an extent, but I always agreed with Husker Du in that the ‘mats weren’t a hardcore band as much as a bar band that played really, really fast.
It’s all opinion man, it’s cool. I was going to say the reason I think I like his later series more than EB&D is that the Edi Patterson’s and Goggins (to say nothing of John Goodman, who is always great) have bigger and better parts.
I still think he’s a dick for hating on my favorite band, The Replacements (who, in his defense could very easily be a bunch of drunken jerks)
