2 episodes ago she was arguing that is was necessary to attack king’s landing with dragons to depose cersei, as there was no other way to stop her. It’s an arguable viewpoint and not unreasonable.

I think you can steer in obvious directions and STILL deliver a satisfying show.  Winds of Winter delivered on 2 pretty obvious plot points (Sept Wildfire and R+L=J), but was executed really well, and made for great TV and great character/story development.
