Sweaters and skinny jeans/leggings. Put feet into boots/booties, add some jewelry. A+ and so warm/comfortable. Sweater dresses and tights/thigh high socks are also great.
In addition to sweater dresses, peasant/gypsy skirts with boots and soft knit tops are great. You can put a sweater or blazer over the top if you’re cold or just want to make the outfit look more finished, and take it off if you’re someplace where the heat is high. Get a few of those long cardigans that are popular and wear them over your comfy dresses with funky tights or even plain tights. I wear dresses and skirts in winter with tights or leggings. You can also through a pullover over your dress so it looks like a skirt/sweater combo.
Well you can get sock garters and be extra fancy, but the ones I have, you just cuff them and they stay in place.

Today I wore a knit maxi skirt with leggings under it and short boots. I may have looked like a bag-person. I’m not sure. I was warm and comfortable though.
Thigh high socks. I got a couple pairs and I’ve been wearing them non-stop. Sockdreams.com has a big selection and they even fit bigger thighs like mine. It looks great with dresses. I too am not excited for jeans.
