I'd heard of this app before but never actually installed it, so thanks for the impetus. I love that it actually has some of the more obscure shows on there (seriously, it has shows from cooking channel on it), and it isn't restricted by language either (so I can see when my favorite anime airs, handy for simulcast).

@Whitson Gordon: Adding to the confusion, the Fascinate just got an update to version 2.2, but not Froyo. The D2 received an update shortly after launch to 2.3 but not Gingerbread. At this point, I'm personally ignoring the version numbers (someone is seriously not paying attention to proper versioning) and just going

@zmnatz: And along those lines, block their cookie so that you can do that with every return visit.

Honestly, I don't expect the iPhone to do much damage to VZW's network. If nothing else, Verizon had a hint of whether their network could handle heavy data usage just with the launch of the Droid brand.

@CnEY: Along the same lines, why does a 3 hour plane ride take 8 hours of my time?

@stratocaster28: Your DroidX experiences sound like something you should blame Blur on, since the D1 (or mine at least), doesn't have those problems. That's actually a complaint of a lot of people that I've seen, that the manufacturer skins kill a good phone (hence the excitement for vanilla phones).

Big trick with this is getting a chair at the proper height too. Another thing, check the height of the keyboard drawer. Having it sit 3 inches below desktop height isn't going to be comfortable either, if the desktop is at the perfect height.

@Zaos: There's no way that a 4G iPhone would be announced by any carrier, just because Apple would want all that glory.

@Drummertist v.3: I'm on a completely unlimited plan at Verizon, and theirs is unlimited, though they will look at you funny if you consistently and constantly go over 5Gb/month.

@sahilm: The iPhone on VZW won't kill Android. Some of the new phones they've announced are very nice machines and will be nice upgrades for those of us who got the Droid on release day and are up for our NE2 in a few months (Q2 actually, which ties nicely into announced releases). Though, a VZW iPhone will also

@baconatorbreakfast: After the VZW/AT&T lawsuit battle about the 3G access map, A&T retaliated by having a series of ads showing off how the iPhone can use voice/data simultaneously. How many people bought it because of that is something I don't know, but it was pushed as a selling point. Those who want to have all

@NuevoLeon: However, you have to be jailbroken to do that, correct? Without root on my Droid, I can customize my screens how I want (and don't have to have the grid of icons which I personally dislike, on any computer I use).

@Brownski: Verizon has come up with a way around the CDMA voice/data limitation... its known as LTE (or 4G). However, all the rumors of the VZW iPhone have had it be 3G.

@djfoxx64: I wear a watch everyday. I never managed to build the habit to pull out my cellphone to look up the current time when I can just twist my wrist. I do use a basic watch though (analog, date and light is all I need).

@iphone_myphone: Maybe eventually, but it definitely won't be announced at CES (not with all the focus of VZW being on LTE phones) and anytime between now and iPhone 5 being released will just be a laughingstock since everyone will want to wait for that phone.

I rarely use Google Maps on my phone, but love having it. I do like most other people here do, look up my route before I leave and familiarize myself with it. If I'm going someplace totally new (not just a separate route), I might program the directions in so I don't totally screw up traffic and to redirect me if I
